Hi! I’m Arielle. Born and raised in the Bronx as an avid reader, I bring my passion for storytelling and characters into all my creative work. Currently, I am focused on developing my first webcomic—Star Power!

Artist’s Statement

I am an illustrator and visual artist with cross-disciplinary training in drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture. Perhaps because of this, my work draws inspiration from many different sources such as film, literature, fashion, 20th century poster art, 90s-00s animation, and DIY zines.

My work often features women and girls, whimsical landscapes, graphic lines, highly saturated color palettes, and narrative elements. Through my art, I strive to reflect and tell stories about the people and communities I hold dear with a lively and sometimes comedic twist.
